The City of Fortresses

Built into and on top of a natural mesa, this city boasts that is has never been conquered. It has multiple rings of defensive walls, hundreds of towers, and many layers of powerful protective wards. All of which make for an impressively constructed city.

The most likely reason behind the lack of conquest is it’s out of the way and undesirable location. The denizens here live modest lives off the modest natural resources in the area. There is nothing about the location nor contents of the city that would entice anyone to desire to conquer it.

Chal Ruins

The Quiet Kingdom

Chal is a large island and also the name of a city that is in dispute between the human kingdom of Etz and the Dragonborn lands. Once its own kingdom, the island has been ravaged by the dispute and is mostly composed of ruins. The island is mostly surrounded by the dragonborn lands, but is also quite close to Etz’s capital of Picaris. At this time, both sides agree to have none of their own nationals on the island to avoid a re-ignition of conflict.
